Who We Are

Ivy Tower Management was founded by Leighton Williams.

Leighton has spent thirty years founding, scaling, and selling businesses across multiple industries. He has been on both sides of the table in M&A transactions, and he has seen what separates the businesses that exit at a premium from the ones that disappoint their owners at the finish line. The difference is rarely the market, the timing, or the industry. It is almost always the systems, the profit infrastructure, or the absence of both.

That experience informs everything we do. We are not academics or career consultants. We are operators who have built, bought, and sold real businesses, and we bring that perspective into every engagement.

We know what buyers look for because we have been buyers. We know what makes a business owner-dependent because we have built businesses that were. And we know exactly what it takes to change that, because we have done it, for ourselves and for our clients.
